My Creative Market Design Recommendations

Today, I’ll be sharing with you my Creative Market recommendations for your online brand or design studio. These can also be used for any type of online creative entrepreneur.

What is Creative Market?

If you’re not familiar with Creative Market, it’s an online marketplace for all the design elements you will need. The site has resources for artists and creatives. You can find templates, imagery, fonts and so much more.

Adding to your brand’s design assets is always a good idea – especially if you’re a designer. You never know when you will need a certain font or pattern. So here is my roundup of templates, patterns, and other elements from Creative Market that will be great to add to your collection. 

Using Creative Market

If you don’t have a Creative Market account make sure you sign up for one. Doing this gives you access to their free goods section where you can find a few gems. They release new downloads every Monday morning.

Before you purchase, make sure you check what platform you can edit the templates on. You can find templates that can be edited in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. 

Backgrounds & Textures

If you’re tired of using your plain brand colors, you can add some spice with one of these selections of backgrounds. Be sure to grab one that is either editable or one that closely matches your existing brand colors. You can opt to get a few textures as well to add a bit more foundation to your design.

Stock Photography

If you’re not big on backgrounds and textures and prefer to use imagery in your designs then these will be perfect for you. This is perfect for those looking to have a curated Instagram feed or to use on their website. Like the options shown below, you should get a set of shots instead of just purchasing one single image each time. When you get the set, you can curate your content much better.

Design Mockups

Specifically for designers, it’s great to have a set of design mockups in your assets folder. This is great when presenting designs to your clients or showcasing your work on your website or social media. Mockups bring your designs to life and when used correctly you give your brand a more professional and creative appearance.

Vector Graphics & Assets

Illustrations are always a great way to add uniqueness to your designs. If this style is included in your branding then these selections would be perfect for you to have on file. Using illustration helps get your message across faster and gives your design a personal feel. They are also super fun to use!

Fonts

If you LOVE fonts then these are for you! Even if you have no current use for fonts it’s always good to snag one, especially during their free goods each week. If you’re a designer, I recommend you shop font bundles that match your design style. If you’re looking for a specific font for your project then there are tons of options for you to choose from.

Design Templates

Sometimes you don’t have the time to create eye-catching designs for your content. This is where design templates would come into place. These are perfect if you don’t have a designer on your team. You can shop templates for Canva or Adobe Softwares – it all depends on which you’re most comfortable editing in.
